A TEACHER'S PERSPECTIVE
How has technology integration helped to impact the learning of students in your class?
"
Technology helps make learning stick because information is presented to students in a format that is fun and engaging. Technology puts learning at students at fingertips and puts students in charge of their own learning. In the past teachers would have to prepare what they were going to "feed" the kids in the way of information. With technology, students are in charge.
Alisa Dallas
"It has really lifted the level of engagement for my students. As soon as they know they will be making choices about a product they create on an iPad or laptop, they get enthusiastic and get right to work. I also think the learning sticks more when they are using technology to research a topic and create something."
Jennifer Smith
My students are more independent from their experiences with technology.
I can create more engaging and hands on lessons and I use more interactive presentation tools.
